Anxiety disorders is one of the most common mental disorders of today along with depression. Sometimes anxiety just comes when we least expect it. It can last for days, becoming an uncontrollable ball of fear weighing you down. Anxiety affects the mind and then your physical body leading to digestive issues, increased heart rate etc. But what if we could control this anxiety instead of letting it control us?

1.      Practice relaxing

Anxiety can sometimes stem from extreme stress in your life so it’s important to relax and find time to wind down. These teas not only help you relax but they have great benefits including lessening muscle tension, reducing blood pressure, boosting your immune system and others. 4.      Exercise

Exercise daily can help you feel good because it releases hormones such as endorphins (the feel-good hormone) that uplifts your mood. Exercise is also important to keep you healthy, keep you moving and make your muscles stronger.

5.      Write it down

Write down your thoughts and feelings into a book, what stresses you out, how you’ve been handling it and your general thoughts about the day. This can also help you identify your triggers if you have any so that your anxiety becomes easier to recognize, control and overcome.

6.      Talking helps

Talking to a friend or family member can also help alleviate the burden and stresses. Talking to people can also give you a new perspective on the situation and help you see things from a different light which is always helpful.
